NW Wine Company | Marketing Coordinator
Summary:
The NW Wine Company Marketing Coordinator position is perfect for you if you are interested in broad exposure to all functions of marketing and you have a deep seeded interest in ultra premium Willamette Valley Wines.
The NWC team is looking for a hands on, solutions oriented team player who is hungry to expand their knowledge of both marketing and the wine industry.
In the functional role of Marketing Coordinator, your key objective is support all functions of the NW Marketing team-design, production, copywriting, web, social, industry submissions, industry events and sales collateral.
Position Description:
Full time, exempt position reporting directly to the Marketing Director, NW Wine Co.
Responsibilities:
As the NW Marketing Coordinator, you will:
- Support marketing efforts for all NW Wine Co initiatives, luxury labels and Westmount.
- Copy write and copy edit various consumer-facing and supplier-facing deliverables.
- Manage Social handles on behalf of multiple private labels.
- Update web content with new materials for multiple private labels.
- Manage distribution and creation of newsletter and Wine Club Membership emails.
- Manage submissions to industry wine publications.
- Design and manage production of Tasting Room and Sales Support Collateral
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-3 years working experience in same or similar field
- Prior SEO or social content management preferred
- Experience in paid media placement preferred
- Previous experience in winery environments preferred
Technical Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
- Strong oral and written skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel on evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to repetitively lift a minimum of 50 lbs: be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist and lift.
Interpersonal Qualifications:
- Engaging, professional and confident individual
- The ability to both develop and maintain relationships with multiple cross functional internal and vendor partners.
- Must be self-motivated and able to act independently, to multi-task and solve problems as they occur.
- Team player who can work well with or without supervision.
- Interest and prior experience within wine industry a plus.
- Previous vendor management or design management experience a plus.
